The Livestock Exchange Building was erected in 1902 as an office for cattle traders, & was once known as “The Wall Street of the West” for all the activity that occurred in the Stockyards. Although the building is primarily occupied by professional services, housed inside you’ll find the North Fort Worth Historical Society Museum, which features historical information and artifacts related to the development of the Stockyards Historical District. Satellite cattle auctions occur every other Friday at Superior Livestock Auctions located on the first floor. Various special events take place on the lawn of this historic building.
